Cyrus is Disney Channel (US)'s first gay main and first gay male character. This is revealed when Cyrus admits that he has a crush on Jonah (which he claims to no longer have by Keep a Lid on It) and that he only likes Iris as a friend.

Tyrus is the relationship pairing between Cyrus Goodman and TJ Kippen on Andi Mack. The two became close despite the former rivalry between TJ and Cyrus' best friend, Buffy and developed crushes on each other, especially as TJ became a better person. They are notable as the first gay romance on Disney Channel.
